No arum is desperate he is trying to make the fight because he has no options for Crawford. Only 1 side is preventing this fight right now and blatanly trying to freeze the other guy out at 147. If spence just kept his mouth shut and stayed in his PBC safe sandbox I could give him a pass but he is the one yapping name dropping canelo and selling wolf tickets with Crawford while running behind Call Al when he knows his team is not trying to make that fight.

I think it's possible for the Spence/Canelo fight to happen, but at what weight doe? If Canelo goes to 175 (Kovalev) next or catchweight 170, then he would have to have his next fight at minimum 168 (Smith?), unless Spence is willing to jump that fight for the payday.

Losing to Canelo at 168 will not be held against him, it's a win-win scenario for him, he gets paid the highest amount he could possibly make on it's own and that L will not count for much, as much as that L to Mayweather counted for Canelo. Spence gets back at 147 or 154.
