Parker is a dull fighter. I hope somebody gets rid of him.

Its a possibility for sure. Ruiz is a pressure fighter and to beat Parker he has to come in light so he can have the foot speed. He also has to make it a bit of a brawl inside.

Parker is very good, he does not get enough credit actually. If i was training him I would have him working on his power. His failure against Joshua, from a strategic perspective (Joshua obviously did a great job against Parker) was the authority his landed punches lacked. He was not a threat so Joshua could pick him apart outside.

Parker has the speed and needs to explode more on his punches...Needs to learn to relax and snap his whole weight into his shots. He has good punching form in general. If he does not do this his only weapon will be his counter punching, something he does well, but Ruiz won't be dissuaded by this counter attack.

Parker also wastes a lot of energy in unnecessary movement. Again, a fighter who never learned how to fight off the back foot occasionally.

But yes, he could still be a hand full for Ruiz! Right now to me this fight is a toss up. Ruiz has more confidence and has learned to pressure better. Parker will no doubt relax more, which will help him move better and counter Ruiz better.

Ruiz would be out of his mind to fight Parker just now...later, ok. If Ruiz fights Parker now he gets Happy Meal money. If he fights Wilder or Fury, and wins, he owns every Mickey-D's in Las Vegas.

This is why most fans opinions need to be taken with a grain of salt - usually it's revisionist history.

And his win over AJ is more a product of AJ not being that good as opposed to Ruiz all of a sudden becoming great.
What a way to contradict yourself here, in one statement you say ppl are discrediting Parker ,and then in another instance you do it yourself by saying AJ not being that good when he himself defeated Parker rather easily ? Wouldn't that make Parker not that good either ?

Another shoot yourself in the foot comment, you're on a roll on here ? lol

Parker has an in with Ruiz bc he defeated him ( officially) .

Parker is not on Wilders radar and Fury has no belts so how does he get more money in a more dangerous fight there ?

The Ruiz fight wont happen anyway, and Joshua most likely collects his belts back and will fight Parker again down the road who handed him his only loss on paper.

If Parker defeated Ruiz and collects the belts he then can make big money outside Joshua ,he knows it so that's why he put it out there even though its just empty talk. I think Parker from this week would edge out Ruiz in a another nail biter.
