Canelo is the franchise champ but when he fights the WBC Diamond Championship belt is on the line and that can definitely be lost. Like others said Canelo is for general purposes the WBC Super champ while Charlo is just the WBC Regular champ lol

This. If canelo and Andrade fight everyone including fans and the other belt orgs will recognize it as the undisputed champ. Hell the WBC will be the first to call a unification bout to determine the undisputed champ of the world just watch. Don't believe look no further then Jorge Linares who was elevated to WBC Diamond champ even after they gave someone else his old WBC belt. and still it was the WBC who called his fight with Crolla a unification fight with WBA champ because they considered Linares the true champ. WBC basically made the Franchise champ the WBA Super champ while Charlo is just the WBA Regular champ. lol That belt Charlo has means little and he will be recognized as a secondary belt holder not the real WBC champ.

The WBC already told you what they going to do but most didn't read this paragraph in the letter they sent out. According to WBC when the Franchise Champion fights

When Canelo fights he will be defending the WBC Diamond belt in unifications just like they did with Linares.
