SRL drained Lalonde down to 168 from an already drained 175 and Donny STILL decked him very hard.
If Kov has to get to 172 it won't bee as bad as he will gain 10 pounds in water weight at least before the bout.


I believe this is a seriously, historical, move by Canelo. Remember, he once fought at 147 and is not a big guy. He's not like Tommy Hearns who moved up to 175 from 147 because Tommy was 6'1" I believe and had wide shoulders; his body grew into 175. Canelo is a little guy, his body will look distorted at 172; will probably look chubby.
