Catch weight or rehydration clause or both if this fight happens. Good fight, but Kovalev's a bit old. I wonder if Canelo's having problems making 160 with all this 168 and 175 talk.

It is odd this weight jumping all of a sudden. Kept hearing how he needed to grow into 160 to face Triple G when G was still prime-ish. But now weight classes don't seem to matter and is somehow hopping around like no big deal. I don't get it.Comment

Canelo isn't doing a damn thing and you are singing his praises and trashing GGG as usual. If GGG fought Kovalev he would fight him at the full 175 in a nuutral location. Canelo will only fight Kovalev in Vegas where Kovalev needs a KO to win and won't fight Kovalev without a draining catchweight. GGG is a damn hard fight for Canelo and he knows it and that's why he won't take it. GGG and Kovalev sparred once and Kovalev said GGG got the best of him that time. If Canelo fights Kovalev at 175 with no morning weigh in or catchweight that would be impressive but that will never happen. He had a morning weigh in for both Jacobs and Fielding and he sure as hell will have a catchweight and morning weigh in for Kovalev. I hope Kovalev says no to that. If Canelo wants to be a light heavyweight champ then do it the brave way with no catchweight and no morning weigh in. He won't do that.Comment

If he ever fights Kovalev it will be in Vegas at a catchweight below 175 and a morning weigh in to keep Kovalev from gaining too much weight. Count on it.Comment
