I think you are right. Canelo has a real mans pride and belief in himself. I don’t think he will wear that Franchise belt of shame long with out calling for Charlo.

Well said. The problem, IMO, with Canelo is that he is too charmed by Oscar's "magic" and benefited too much from all this "118-110"-like stuff. And now he behaves like a diva in his own right, Oscar or not. Its probably too late for him - the dark force got him As tempting as it is, I can hardly blame it all on Oscar, the seed won't become a fruit in an inhospitable land.

I'll list some of the guys GGG and Canelo fought since then too. Tell me if Andrade would have been a more worthy opponent or not.

Liam Smith (went after weakest beltholder after they stripped Andrade)
JCC Jr (washed up, and fought him up in weight after ducking GGG at 160)

The point is, Andrade is better than anyone I mentioned above, and there was plenty of chances to fight him.

I am not sure how exciting of a fight this will be, but Andradre needs to look amazing and full of fire works if he wants to get the drums beating for a Trip G or Alvarez fight. There is very little chance Golovkin fights anyone of extreme note before another chance at Alvarez as it is a legacy or bust fight for him, but after the third one he may need a legit opponent or two more to cement his career. Alvarez may want someone for September if negotiations with Golovkin fall through, so get an exciting win here and a unification fight may be an option.

It is not impossible, but he needs to be marketable.

Jacobs fought Golovkin, to get Canelo

Golovkin could have fought Charlo, to get Canelo

Golovkin could have fought Andrade, to get Canelo

Charlo and Andrade could fight each other, or Jacobs.... to get Canelo

one meaningful win

everyone is standing off each other, hoping to land the Canelo payday by default..... keeping their powder dry, hoping that the others will lose..... just like all the welters did with Mayweather

consider the following facts, in order.....

1) Canelo has already PROVEN that he will fight anyone

2) Canelo stated that his goal is to become undisputed at 160

3) Callum Smith just let slip, he was told to "prepare for December"

4) Canelo would not fight Smith in Dec, he would fight him in Sep

5) the ONLY relevant opponent Canelo would need to wait until December to fight, is Andrade..... not the "plan-B" Callum Smith

is it really not clearly obvious that Canelo will select Andrade if he gets past Sulecki?

I,m sure BJS isn't Black, would be a good, big money fight, but neither GGG or Alvarez wants any parts. I Wonder why?.... Im really sorry that a lot of the capable sharks surrounding Alvarez and GGG are Black lol. Oh and nobdody cares to see Jacobs vs Charlo or Andrade or whoever for that matter. People want to see fresh super fights and so do the folks at DAZN so there will be push for these fights whether you like it or not
