Not as much as they’re obsessed with Hearn, but why did Chad Dawson fight Ward at 168?

If the question is too difficult, it’s all good!

Definitely Dawson miscalculated. That was a career altering error in judgement.

1st off not everyone's body is the same, Dawson fought at 172-3 in more then a couple fights and was in prime.Kov has always been a big 75pder who is 35-6 and moving down in weight for older fighters is almost always a bad idea.

What’s the problem? If Kovalev can’t do a catchweight then he can’t do a catchweight.

Would it be fair if GBP does 175 but enforce a hydration limit if they can’t so a catchweight? SRL vs Lalonde were at a lower weight than Donny could handle and were for 2 weight straps as Floyd Maidana 2.

Do you realize your question is really ******?
Chad went down in weight and what happened? Oh he lost.
Canelo went down in weight and what happened? Oh he lost
Thats why going down in weight while your body cant take it its just ******. You making the weight its not all. You also need to fight and the fluids are important.

So if Kovalev goes down in weight it will be just plain ******.
Its like asking GGG going to 154 now, can he do it? Maybe, but you will see a drained GGG on fight night, and anybody can tell that he wont be the same.
