GGG and Canelo are on the same level

I don't favor either one but I don't get all the GGG hate from Canelo fanbois.

If you call GGG a hypejob, punk ass, weak fighter, tomato can etc. you have to remember that Canelo couldn't beat GGG confidently enough to get a sure W and demonstrate the boxing world that he is levels above Golovkin.

We can argue all we want about who won which fight of the first two, but the truth is that both fights were extremely close. So if you call GGG a hypejob, Canelo is no different.

Not even close. Golovkin is a 1 trick pony, Canelo can fight numerous ways. Which he showed in the Golovkin fights. Canelo is just a better fight, it's undeniable.

They might be on the same level but at least Canelo tries to prove himself against legit opponents, e.g. Lara, Trout, Jacobs etc. Even though it may not suit him stylistically those matchups. GGG fights nobody and keeps crying wanting to have a rematch.

former WW/LHW title holder Canelo has proved he is slightly better than MW titleholder GGG, sadly. That ship has sailed.

But GGG has proved he is a slightly better than top contender Danny Jacobs,if that counts.

Why did Canelo need to take PEDS after he lost the first golovkin fight? that alone shows you he and his team knew they couldnt beat a past prime golovkin without drugs and without paid off judges.

that shows he is not even on the level of a old faded golovkin.

no, because GGG fans were saying he was better than hagler, whereas noone made those claims of canelo. Better than hagler is definitely hype when your best win is contender danny jocabs.

how does that excuse Canelo's first draw and the close win over GGG?

He didn't need them. He was tested for 6 months before the Golovkin rematch and beat Golovkin at his own game, Mexican style.

It's hilarious. Golovkin fans went from saying he was the best MW ever, now they're begging for him just to be on Canelo's level.

Golovkin is the definition of being an hype job.
