Did the article say where Michael Benson was supposed to have listed those orders?

I haven't seen anything like that posted by Benson anywhere.
No it didn't, but sites called the "heavy bag boxing",I too looked at bensons twitter to find anything saying this.

Update:After doing some research, apparently this list is the list compiled over several mos of fights that have been mandated,& by the site directly talking to benson or something,& the fights that make no sense are due to the fighters working out deals amongst themselves & wbc like they did with the whole mikey garcia loma Campbell Situation.

They are doing their best to insulate Canelo from a GGG trilogy. I don't mind these fights, but Charlo brings zero revenue to the fight, which is why he needs to have a unification fight with Andrade first. At least fight one legit opponent before you are entitled to a top tier money fight. This guy is routinely allowed to go to the head of the line while beating journeymen.

Thurman/Porter 2 will not be a compelling fight if Spence thrashes Porter. Unless of course Thurman loses to Pac, but even then, I would rather see Thurman take on winner of Garcia/Garcia.

Russell/Santa Cruz is long overdue, so hopefully they can sign that fight.

From the sounds of it this order just means the fighters are required to start negotiating & if they lose their next fights it becomes irrelevant anyways.

Russell v santa cruz will be a great scrap, thurman vs porter 2 is stylistically just about the absolute worst possible fight let alone rematch that can be made between 2 champs, ggg vs charlo is by far the most logical fight for both guys careerwise if they can't get nelo next imho,& just like Boxing has taught us time after time, when the best fight the best the winner usually gets rewarded with the big fight sooner than later because the cashcow cannot ignore nor silence the demands of the fans that would grow to loud & in unison.

Thats why jacobs v nelo happened when it did,had jacobs not had a belt & if canelo had instead won all non wbo belts from ggg, then that fight wouldn't have happened imho.

But Jacobs didn't sit around waiting,he went out & made concessions to build his resume & name,& he didn't play games he accepted a fair offer.

Over a year ago I said Charlo would run 160 by this time 2019. Here we are in 2019 and he isn't any closer. I think he has the talent to beat anyone at 160, but he's too busy fighting no-hopers in order to maintain his place in line for the big fight. He should have to fight Andrade, Jacobs, Saunders...any one of these fights before he expects a big fight with Canelo or GGG. Earn it the way Jacobs did.

Charlo clearly is not as good as some people thought he was. Did you notice how quiet his fanboys went after the Korobov fight?

Here is the current list of ordered massive WBC fights from the organization cited by Michael Benson.

              Gennady Golovkin vs Jermall Charlo

Keith Thurman vs Shawn Porter 2

Gary Russell vs Leo Santa Cruz

              Jorge Linares vs Adrien Broner

              Mikey Garcia vs Luke Campbell

              Anthony Dirrell vs Avni Yildirim

              Julian Williams vs Erislandy Lara"
Another opportunity for GGG (to jump on) to get a title. But don't hold your breath.

Every org has **** fight. Which is mostly to do with orgs not ranking other title holders. At least they haven't got bs belts and follow their rules (which is why Golovkin got stripped for ducking)

                    But Wade was ranked #3.

Golovkin was the champ of almost every other title so there's no excuse to say that was because other champs were not ranked.

The IBF are the most legit which is the precise reason few of the top fighters actually pay to be sanctioned with 'em. Who wants to pay an org who might actually force you fight dudes you don't want to? The sad consequence is of course that sometimes - in fact fairly often - you end up with dudes like Dom Wade as mandatories.
