And how "top" is Ruiz will be known once he fights another top 5 guy like Wilder, Fury, Ortiz, or even Whyte. He already lost to Parker.
He's a top fighter, check all the ratings. People want to use them pre-Joshua win but not now, why? Because it doesn't suit their agenda.

Ruiz win was a lucky one that bolted straight to No. 1 because of just one win. I do not consider Ruiz to consistently beat the top 3...not even Joshua in the rematch. Also, when looking at the Ruiz match, we have to consider his rating PRIOR to the match not afterwards.

Do you think when Buster Douglas beat Tyson, he suddenly became better than Holyfied and Bowe and Lewis or even Tyson himself? or do you consider that just an upset.

Do you think Rahman was the No. 1 guy to beat or do you consider his win over Lewis just a puncher's chance?

Can anyone who beat Rahman or Douglas claim to be the best fighter of the 90s era? That is not how it works. I will definitely start considering Ruiz a legitimate No. 1 if he is able to stay there after 3-4 fights. At this point, no.
