He had numerous opportunities to go over to DAZN when offered an increased payday with a new contract, and he didn't take it, wanting to stay loyal to PBC. Now, going over to DAZN doesn't guarantee a fight with GGG or canelo, but it makes it easier to make when the time comes, and more pressure will be put on canelo and GGG as their excuses run thin. He had an opportunity to fight jacobs when jacobs pulled up on him and mentioned that he wants to fight jermall, but he wasn't interested. He didn't want to fight andrade when andrade invaded his press conference(andrade pulled out from a fight with his brother jermell due to purse offer conflicts, but showed interest in fighting jermall). He choose to stay put at PBC, and now he is questioning why things go a certain way? LOL...

He also told Jacobs to make the fight then Jacobs changed the subject to "M's" cuz it was Jacobs way out of the fight & Boo Boo pulled out of the Mell fight then started talking trash at the press conference knowing his own team wasn't going to get him the Mall fight cuz he probably would of pulled out of that too. Once again Idec trying to spin the situation as if Charlo has been chasing, demanding a fight with Alvarez. Charlo has always been happy fighting low level fighters and somehow pretending he is one of the best fighters in boxing. The best competition Charlo has faces was Trout and J-Rock and those fights were 3 years ago.

Charlo never had any real intention of fighting Alvarez even though doing so would actually make him rich instead of just pretending to be rich which is what he does now. He is perfectly happy fighting low level guys and being praised for by PBC, FOX and Showtime. Wow, GGG would of been a perfect fit within PBC.

He's been chasing him since 154. If you follow boxing you would of known that. Don't ACT like he aint trying to get the fights.

Real boxing fans see this for what it is, the wbc allowing Canelo to remain a champion while creating a loophole that doesn't legally force him to face a mandatory. He is the most entitled fighter in boxing history, especially when it comes to the wbc and how his fights are scored.

Facts. Real boxing fans should be outraged by WBC actions. Franchise champion??? How many fighters have been stripped of their title AND tossed out of rankings for opting to not defend against #1 ranked? Any fighters holding a WBC belt should be outraged. Jacobs was with Haymon and a fight with Charlo should of been made. Jacobs made a half hearted attempt at fighting Charlo and Charlo made absolutely 0 attempts and efforts at setting up a fight with Jacobs.

Not even with these guys being in the same stable do they fight each other. I recall when people were angry with Arum when all he made was in-house matches. Haymon won't make fights with other outside promotions and he won't even make in-house fights with his best fighters. He has got to be the worst promoter in the history of boxing. He goes so far as to protect his fighters from fighters within his own promotion.

Charlo's belt=WBA regular and NOT recognized by other Organizations (can't unify except maybe with WBA regular champ). Will be interesting to see how PBC tries to spin the real value of his title.

Canelo's belt=WBA super and recognized by other Orgs (can unify up to undisputed).
