"Ronnie Shields, who had some interesting news to relay to the WBC’s interim middleweight champion. Before Shields could tell Charlo about the WBC’s bizarre announcement, Charlo clicked over to answer Al Haymon’s call."

lol that is amusing. So when you on the phone with the trainer but the money man calls you will put his ass on hold.

The best competition Charlo has faces was Trout and J-Rock and those fights were 3 years ago.

Charlo never had any real intention of fighting Alvarez even though doing so would actually make him rich instead of just pretending to be rich which is what he does now. He is perfectly happy fighting low level guys and being praised for by PBC, FOX and Showtime. Wow, GGG would of been a perfect fit within PBC.
Why should he have to when he's been mandatory for 14 months? Isn't the sanctioning body supposed to do all that?

        Belts:

        Originally 1 per division, 8 division = 8 belts.

        Belts now:
17 divisions, 4 major (not even including IBO or the Ring) Belts

3 of the 4 belts have 4 belts each for each division. (this is all the diamond championship, the new one they just made for canelo, ect)

        So 17*1+17*4+17*4+17*4 = 170 belts

We have 170 world championship belts not even including the Ring or IBO. And also not including things like the europeaon champion belt and all their variations for belts below world champion.

Why did you skip your rematch with Korobov?

Canelo would beat this guy easy, he's not as good as GGG or Jacobs

C'mon you should know better than that, don't be so naive. A lot of times just being a mandatory is not enough. It takes the fighter, his management, and promoter to put and keep the pressure on the sanctioning bodies to honor their obligations to the #1 ranked contender. There have been fighters that have taken the sanctioning bodies to court in order to force them to honor their own rules regarding mandatories. If the fighter and his team does not do so then the sanctioning bodies will be more than happy keeping the status quo.

Charlo instead would rather have the WBC award him a title that he did not try and win in the ring and he seems perfectly ok with it.

Charlo is being ducked, even though he was unimpressive beating Korobov, he was sensational knocking out Julian Williams. I don't know why Canelo and GGG or their handlers are hesitant or scared to put them in with Charlo, as they can beat him. But their is that risk they could lose. That is what is wrong with boxing today, best avoiding the best for the most part. Fans need to wise up and speak by not attending crap fights, and not buying pay-per-views and subscriptions, until the fights we want to see are made regularly.

You know damn well Charlo and Haymon never had any intention of actually fighting Canelo because that would entail Charlo fighting on DAZN. By the way that J Rock fight was 3 years ago. Haymon does not have his fighters best financial aspirations at heart. If he did he would of let Charlo got to DAZN and take on their middleweights and in doing so it would of made Charlo very wealthy. But instead he is still fighting low levels guys such as Brandon Adams on FOX or Showtime.

I have to give Jacob's credit for breaking away from Haymon's mental stranglehold and going to DAZN. In doing so his one fight with Canelo has made him more money than the Charlo twins combined in their last 3 fight.

I think GGG is the number 1 guy... if Canelo decides to go another route, I bet the WBC will call for a purse bid right away...

I think DAZN would throw a bunch of money at Charlo to fight on their platform. I don't understand these young guys passing up these big money offers to stay put and fight nobodies. If Charlo wants to do what RJJ and BHOP did, he needs to go to DAZN and have the chance to fight GGG, Canelo, Andrade, Jacob's and some others. Theres just nothing for him at 160 at PBC until Hurd, Jrock, or whoever moves up.

Let's be honest here, he's not being ducked by anyone. If he went to DAZN, he'd have numerous opportunity to have big fights. He's the one who's on the outside looking in at 160. He decides to stay at PBC with no opponents while all the other big names went to DAZN and are have started to fight each other starting with Jacobs-Canelo and most likely Canelo-Ggg this fall.

He could get Andrade if he went over and eventually the Canelo fight would happen or GGG fight, whoever wins their 3rd fight.
