The best path for the PBC welterweights is fighting each other because they’re all considered p4p type guys.
You really think Jermell wants to fight the best P4P fighters around? He hasn't even fought the best in his division yet. He would not want any part of Crawford. I doubt Hurd would want any of him either. Who does that leave? Lara? Mungiua is likely moving to 160 soon. As others have stated, most of the talent at 154 is signed up with PBC.

The only upside for him moving up is if he can unify some titles before Spence inevitably moves up, which could help leverage a fight at 154.

Just hate to see this happening to a talent like Crawford. His best years are slipping by with no career defining performances, although his division is as hot as it has been in years. From a fans perspective, continuing to fight under the Top Rank banner has made TC close to irrelevant. His choice, I guess.

Same issues at 154 as 147, and those fights will be dangerous for him with a less reward. Don't see it happening.

His best bet is to get the winner of Taylor/Prograis or fight Jose Ramirez sometime next year.

I agree, don't get me wrong I would like to see those fights.

I think a fight with him and J Rock would be a very entertaining.

have a feeling the BOBster will get desperate and feed Jose Ramirez eventually to BUD
              If anything

BUD goes down in weight to 140

Crawford obviously doesnt care. He signed another contract with Bob knowing this.

I dont think he re-signed knowing that those pbc welters were going to avoid him like the plague. Thurman wont even lisp bud's name. Porter's tongue is missing and Spence said Bud is too far across the street....even after crawford told him to his face to "lets fight". its a shame
