You are probably right...I can't really imagine DAZN paying them, especially Canelo, all that money and not having some say in who they fight...especially when the first fight and rematch were both hugely successful...DAZN has to be pushing for that fight and they have to have a lot of pull.

Canelo gets paid no matter who he fights. G certainly needs canelo for the incentive /bonus. But I'm sure g just wants the fight for the canelo cash. Canelo is out here making major moves and we see g just doing nothing but revolving his career around canelo. Yet g still thinks he calls the shots.

A beating is what Roy Jones did to Vinny pazienza, or what Chavez did to Camacho, or what pac did to delahoya. What canelo did vs ggg was eek out a controversial split decision.
