First of all, to be in the "full disclosure" world, I am a Usyk fan and have been touting him as a world class boxer and one of my favorites for a few years, so I do have a built in bias here. But I agree with Bobby Shaw above. I know this rule exist, and so should any other Boxing follower as this rule was applied to Terrence Crawford when he moved from 140 to 147. The WBO made him the mandatory, and he has held the belt ever since taking from Jeff Horn. So this, to my knowledge, has been applied fairly.

Shyte should have nutted up by now and fought Luis Ortiz.

This is what he gets for being a chicken shit.

It seems like all he does is complain.

I think Whyte's been messed around with the WBC. The WBO giving Usyk his shot is fair though. He was their superchamp and that's their rules.

Usyk is bad for the hw division we don't need another roided up European In the hw division.but far as dillian go he has only himself to blame he kept dodging these eliminaters.but I can see why he would have lost.

Usyk may be the second coming of God to some but has NOT fought anyone in the HW division and is now MANDATORY.

Say what you want about Dillan but he has EARNED his stripes in the WH division even if you do not like him and there are many who do not.

To say professional boxing is full of $h1t is an understatement! And i do not care which of the Alphabet soups you are talking about.

Evander Holyfield a proven all time great EARNED the right to fight Buster Douglas for the HW title AFTER crossing gloves against LEGIT HW opponents.

And what do we have today , PRIMA DONNA's being handed mandatory positions on a SLIVER PLATTER.

                Boxing is full of $h1t!

It's all or nothing for Usyk.

So what...They gonna keep him on ice and surrounded by cotton wool til maybe this time next year with no tune up fight at heavyweight?

Or maybe chuck him a can or two to squash in the meantime. Lucas Browne or the like?

If Usyk loses to AJ or Ruiz, he goes from the one spot to no mans land, but most probably back down to cruiserweight.

Put Usyk in with Parker on the Ruiz undercard and put his mando on the line.

                  Whyte is right!

until he takes on an opponent that has been mandated by a governing body he has no voice.

Whyte clearly chooses not to read, or is unable too.

First, he fails to read the part of the WBC rules that states they can move you to the back of the championship line if you turn down a final eliminator, which he did when he ducked Ortiz.

Now, he is complaining about this, despite the fact that the WBO CLEARLY has guidelines concerning a champion moving up in weight, and be designated the mandatory, specifically the governing body that made this decision.

Mabye Whyte is as dumb as he sounds, and whatever happened to that big ESPN deal?
