Not hating on someone like Canelo or Pac's resume either...they have some good wins too...but other than those guys no active fighter's resume really comes close...and Pac and Canelo have some blemishes and clear losses...and some wins over guys past their prime or not at ideal weights...GGG doesn't really have that going against him..

Don't start son, don't start you won't win
I love Jacobs but I don't consider him p4p.
You are joking with old Daniel geale and David lemieux.
Not one marquee win. Not one.
No foty
If this is the benchmark for greatness to you, I guess Kovalev is great too

Winning the rounds in your opinion. Landing jabs all night.
And when ggg did fight, it was too late.
The Mexican style champion came out and showed he's a good but not great champ.
Ggg is Mr. No challenges.

The history books don't say...hey he was once top ten...either you can fight or you can't and if you're not cream you don't rise to the top. Only Jacobs and Alvarez have risen to the top so lets leave that weak top ten talk alone. Bottom line....Andrade has the WBO...he passes the eye test...and he wants to fight GGG. GGG just fought Rolls instead of Andrade with ZERO guarantee of Alvarez next.Originally posted by SchoolTheseCats View Post3 of Andrade last 5 fights was at 154lbs.... and again like I said other than canelo and Jacobs ggg opposition is crap to campaigned at 160 his whole career doesn’t matter if you do last 20 opponents canelo and Jacobs would still be only named that mattered
I mean GGG pretty clearly beat Canelo twice (when you outland a guy 10/11 rounds (1 tie) and 8/11 rounds (1 tie) that usually tells the story...and he doesn't really get anything but criticism for those fights and the Jacobs fight, which was pretty straightforward as well (9/11 rounds, 1 tie).
Just seems like if people aren't going to give him credit where he clearly deserves it, they will probably overlook other positives about him as well...just seems as though many on here have a blind spot for GGG and find it hard to really give him some credit.
So yeah no real HOFs in their prime for GGG (other than Canelo which again I think people should credit him for but they seem to not want to...and again if the criteria for getting an acknowledged win is a KO...then a good win would never happen ya know).
But GGG does have about 15 good fighters, all in their prime, all at their best weight or close to it (Brook a notable exception) who he dominated and KOed...that's really impressive actually...better imo than a Canelo 12 round decision against Mosley at 152 or Cotto at 155 ya know...Idk I just don't really see the over the top stuff about GGG's resume
Murray, Macklin, Geale, Rosado, Stevens, Ouma, Brook, Monroe, Vanes, Rolls, Ishida, Adama, Lemieux, Rubio, Proksa...15 guys all by KO, all solid enough, all in their prime basically...idk I just feel like if the dude was a bum it would have been exposed in way greater detail than it has been lol...like one of those dudes would have gone 12 with him or maybe even beaten him one night...just think he deserves a lot more credit...when you factor in the amateur career it is pretty clear he is the real deal

Why don’t you be objective as you ****ing know nothing about boxing ,cos if you did ,you would be objective about it and now Andrade is growing on you ,what ,like ur set? ( if you k ow what that is )
I thought you had disappeared.
All that ****e you posted to me lol
I am still here.
Another ggg ballicker that can't deal with simple principles & logic. Andrade is actually trying to face better competition & signed up to face who ggg has ducked in Saunders & is willing to face gstring coward at any time he wants & ggg can become mandatory to any belt he wants but will be forced to face a non ginger,so hes scared & said fck that.
Don't bother crawling out of the hole you live in known as gggs arse next time your feeling like getting liquid courage while still expecting someone to debate Boxing with you despite you acting like a butthurt exAJ/gggroupie with a giant stick rammed up your arse because they both lost. AJ at least I have respect for.
