His career would always be a big “what if” but he’s accomplished a lot. And he will forever be the man at 122
Márquez (40 years old) K.O',d Pacquiao

Klitschko was knocking down guys when he was old .

Only fight I'm interested in seeing Rigo in is Gary Russell Jr. at 126. I would settle for Frampton or Santa Cruz as well.

I dont want him to go over 122. He is 100 years old and doesn't weight more than 125 lbs the night of the fight. They are a few young guns at 118/122.

Being 40 years old in a division where no KO’s occur is pretty good.

Marquez was juiced to the gills and Wlad is a heavyweight where his competition was ass during his reign and heavyweights is the only division where a old fart can compete.

              Hahaha poor hater.

In 122, there are a lot of power punches always, Gómez was a mosnter punches, Donaire was a K.O artist, Barrera and Morales too.

              You are fu.ckinh stu.pid

And Márquez was clean he always was a clean fighter.

He did a work to gain strenght

And if a guy was juiced is Pacquiao

Man, you are a true ID.iot

And Márquez is way better than rigo and had a better career

Rigo should've fought this way 10 years ago when he had better reflexes. He'd be retired now. Instead he's just going to take more of those same punches he would have then for less money and with less ability to evade.

My favorite style has always been boxer-puncher. Rigo would’ve fit that mold perfectly, but he preferred to fight as a defensive counterpuncher. So ironic that at this point in his career he decided to fight in the other extreme. I don’t see why he can’t just work as a boxer-puncher, which is (in my opinion) a perfect compromise. Rigo’s got the skills, the talent and the power to put on a great show. I thought he did so with Donaire, another great fight.

Still do like Rigo despite the global mind readers on this site saying otherwise.

However he has lost support because the way he lost to Lomachenko. He was not beat up, he was embarrassed into a loss like Roberto Duran vs Leaonard II.

Have always said Loma’s fight style (Movement) depends too much on balance. If you catch him behind the ear and shake up that vestibular system you got him. Why because Salido Pedraza and Linares showed that he is not at all durable or so powerful toe to toe.

If Rigo had been patient and took the punishment he took against Ceja. Eventually he was going to catch him with that El Chacon power.

No one picked Rigondeaux to beat Loma on rounds. The pick was based on him eventually catching him. From their it was questionable as to whether Loma could keep Rigo at bay. The fight would have changed at that point.

But I don’t want to take anything away from Loma because he was beginning to frustrate the hell out of him. Just believed Rigo should have been mentally ready to know he was going to be down on the cards. His win would be by knockout. That’s what Juan Manuel Marquez knew about Pacquiao. That’s why he caught him in their last fight.
