  • Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz Takes High Road, Won't Engage Fury in War of Words

IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight Andy Ruiz is not taking the bait. The newly crowned unified champion is not going to trade words with Tyson Fury, who recently threw a few verbal jabs in his direction. On June 1, Ruiz captured the world titles after stopping Anthony Joshua in the seventh round. Ruiz dropped him four times before the contest was waved off.

Andy is a real dude. He is who he is and doesn't go for all this shit talking that Fury feels the need to do.

        You gotta respect that.

Dang, Amen Andy Ruiz. I get fed up with the incessant trash talk; I am here for boxing, not this reality TV nonsense.

It weirds me out when actual boxing fans get psyched up for all the antics more than the action. Good dude here.

Ruiz has a fanbase that wouldn't have him flop w/ piss poor 5,500 attendance anyway.
