I don’t think either truly left their mark in the fight.

I think i had it a draw or a round to Parker. It was truly a fight where you can’t complain if it goes either way. Whether it went the way of Parker because it was in NZ, who knows, because scoring it to Parker isn’t a bad decision. It certainly wasn’t a fight where you can say Ruiz wins in any other country.

That’s the right formula for these kind of decisions though. Give it to the guy you want to win while keeping it very close so it seems fair.

Golden Boy have got it right with Canelo and judges now. They perfected it over the last two decisions he had. Basically keep the scoring close while giving Canelo the win. That way you can’t question it because it looks like they were scoring impartially but in fact he is always going to get the decision anyway. They used to get it wrong with the wild score cards but now they have tweaked it to perfection. He did beat Jacobs anyway, but was gonna get the decision regardless. That’s the trick.

Ruiz landed more power punches vs Parker

Parker landed a few more jabs

That fight was a draw , at least.

Ruiz didnt do enough to get the decision. The fact it was in NZ is irrelevant.

Parker dug deep in the final rounds and deservedly won.

Next you'll be telling us Hughie Fury did enough in Manchester to beat Parker also...PFFFFT!!!

Parker has the right style to beat Ruiz, as does Tyson Fury, because they can outbox him.

Windmill and the giant glass jawed robot cant outbox Ruiz or outfight him.

The little fat Mexican kid can take a hell of a shot and crack with the best of them.

ANDY RUIZ JR... HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORRRRRRRLLLLDDDD!!!

          ...get used to it.

It's true what they say about this site. It's just a PBC/Wilder groupie site with zero objectivity with the exception of a few.
any other sites in which they discuss boxing better?
I am really tired of the hate and lacks of objectivity that it is shown here at all times.

Parker handled Ruiz power shots better than Ruiz handled Parker's jab or power shots

It may have been closest to a draw, but that wouldn't have satisfied anybody. Still, there is no way Ruiz was robbed.

He took it on the chin, accepted the loss, learnt a lot from it and has now come back the better boxer to flatten the giant glass jawed robot and become the champ.

Parker will be back in the mix soon enough too. I think he's learnt his lesson as well.

Parker could not afford to stand in front of Ruiz and trade,, Parker felt the power so he got on his bike in a Tyson Fury type of boring fight.
Andy was the Boss in that Ring, Parker don't posses the power to hurt Andy and realized it in the early rounds.

Is the answer cuz he didn't have Joey Dawejko as a sparring partner?

Handled power shots is not part of the criteria to score a fight.

Parker won because he was the A side.

But he was not better than Andy than night, it would be better a Draw.

But Andy learned , it was a good experience
