Usyk is a weaker punching southpaw made for a Joshua counter right hand then a aggressive DECENT power counter puncher Ruiz is ... That in close style is harder for AJ, the shorter croucher who is harder for Joshua not the back foot points fighter who is Usyk ... etc[QUOTE]

No different than any other WBO champ who moves up.

      No man, he don't.
If Ruiz wins the rematch he deserves the mega fight vs Wilder or Fury, thats the fight that all the people will want to ser

Not a fight against a guy that is NOTHING in heavyweight.
And that he was the King of a weak división like cruiserweight
Yea, I agree. I've seen that rule applied in lighter divisions, but the weight differences in HW are way above the lighter divisions. There can be 40, 50 lb. weight differences or more at HW. Lighter divisions are generally 8 - 10 lbs. between divisions.

At HW any fighter should have to have at least 3 fights to get a mandatory. (Yea I know, I don't get to make the rules) I think the WBO is cooperating with hearn on this one.

Hearn would have to have A LOT of trust in Usyk at heavyweight for this to be a favour. I’m sure Eddie would prefer to have Whyte as the WBO mandatory (he’s in the #1 spot with the WBO)

We'll see how Gassiev does when he moves up, but Briedis is 4-0 at HW with a huge KO over WBA champ Manuel Charr.

and we'll scrub Bellew beating Haye, because he wouldn't have if Haye wasn't shot...but wasn't Bellew champ at 175?
Bellew was KO'd by Adonis Stevenson. That's acceptable as a LHW, but not a great resume for a HW boxer.

Issues like these are all relative to who he fighting however. Against Joshua his feet and stamina seemed fine because Joshua’s issues in those areas are even bigger.

Usyk can do all the things that Joshua could not. He is going to make Ruiz deal with angles and he’s going make Ruiz work non stop. Ruiz’s fat isn’t an issue unless you make move that bulk around. Moving that 260 pounds around burns energy, a lot of energy if he has to try to do it quickly or constantly change direction. Ruiz is fairly efficient shuffling straight ahead behind his jab.

We will see but my opinion is that the two worst possible matchups for Ruiz are the fighters who move well and are in no way looking to engage in a firefight, Fury and Usyk.
Not sure I agree about Ruiz's stamina, but I agree with your conclusion: Fury and Usyk (and any HW fighter with Usyk-type skills) would be the worst style matchups for Ruiz.

Fury has such a long jab, he would be a problem. But if Fury lets Ruiz get in close, he would batter Fury.

If Whyte wanted a shot he would have got one. He's hunting down Deondra WildWhore instead.

I'd give Usyk a chance against pretty much any HW.

And that’s not a knock on Usyk. He’s a terrific fighter and I applaud him for daring to be great. That said, he should have to prove his worth as a heavyweight before a champion is forced to fight him.
The only joke of an organization I know starts with W and ends with a C .

Didn't this CERTAIN organization make a guy out of boxing TWO years a mandatory for Wilder ? lol

Another champion coming in another class has earned his way not to mention he does have wins at HW off his pro record. If a fat Stiverne is proving why isn't Usyk an actual threat and that organization is being scrutinized ?? lol

You guys can cry and keep crying but the rules are pretty clear unlike THAT other organization right ? lol

its like ppl crying over the Whyte situation where he HASNT fought a final elimination bout yet but cant figure out why hes not the mando yet ? lol
