I don't because he's too obstinate and stubborn. Instead following protocol he chooses to buck the system.

For decades, their have been final eliminators within the WBC. So why does Whyte thinks that he is somehow exempt or above the rules?

Back in the 1970s there was a final eliminator between the no.1 and no.2 contenders; Ken Norton vs Jimmy Young and the winner would have become the mandatory challenger for Muhammad Ali's WBC title. Which was then Ken Norton.

... yes... he grew slowly... maybe because he's a stylist and not a ****er...

Larry Holmes vs Ken Norton was a Final Eliminator too if I'm not mistaken.

Usyk would probably be wise to fight at least one legit HW before either of these two - Parker would probably be an ideal first choice (should Joe make it past Leapai) if he's willing. Chances are there will be time though, not even convinced Ruiz - Joshua II gonna happen this year and even if it does there's 3 sanctioning bodies to appease so the odds are against the WBO being first in rotation. Could well be looking at the second half of 2020 before this one comes through - if it ever does.

Usyk was never convinced that he might perform at a top level in the HW division... that's is why he started his pro career at CW...
So another potential fighter ruined by Hearn?

Yeah! Back then the fighters were a lot hungrier too. They had to scratch, claw and grind for everything they got. If you didn't fight the best fighters available at the time, you couldn't eat. You couldn't make no money. Nowadays fighters are just too entitled and spoiled. They want everything handed to them on a silver platter without paying their dues. For example, Whyte has passed up over three Final eliminators and a voluntary challenge to Anthony Joshua heavyweight championship.

6’3” right? I read Wilder has 18” legs. I love how different everyone’s per portions are. Guys who are shorter but have much longer arms than others. I think they all should have to weigh in close to fight time. Fans love discussing something tangible like weight. I respect all fighters that give an in ring weight. I know maybe it’s not the best strategy to divulge anything more than you have to. And it’s often used as an excuse or negotiation tactic. But I like seeing people not afraid of the truth. GGG said he’d get on the scale if Nelo did? But Nelo declined. I have no problem if u make weight and then outweigh the other guy, cause at the same time people complain of having to cut so much weight. Every fighter puts on weight save HWs so I hate it when a guy says they fought a light heavy if they both made 16o the day before. A light heavy doesn’t weigh 175 in the ring. And the guy complaining didnt weigh 160. Should all be on the table.
