Hey man, while I can sympathize with your situation, can't you see that your intended target is a little misplaced ? This article is written by Frank Warren, an English boxing promoter who resides IN the United Kingdom. Why would you choose HIM to represent the United States media AND public ?

You're upset about the "deep racial biases held by the United States public and the unjust double standard in the media, that is a direct result of said deep racial biases" ? You're upset about the "hypocrisy that there's no way Americans would drool over a black man, had he behaved the way Tyson Fury has, or who fights the way Tyson Fury fights" ? And you're also upset about "white privilege" ?

Listen man, you have the right to be upset as much as, and about whatever you like. I just want to point out to you that Frank Warren is not only a boxing promoter, but a British boxing promoter. It's his job and nature to be biased. Not racially biased, but biased. Are Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois white ? He supports them. This is the wrong article to support your arguments bro. Furthermore, I see PLENTY of Americans on this Forum and in the media who support Deontay Wilder and other black fighters.

I'm not saying that racial bias does not exist. I'm just saying this article is a poor choice of a soap box and not "proof positive" for racial bias. Biases exist for both sides of the color coin. Do you tend to favor black fighters over white ones ? I think some people do. I suspect even more base their support on the Nation represented.
I think it might be wise to pump the brakes before taking Frank Warren's word that "America is more aware of Tyson Fury than Deontay Wilder". He's just a British promoter hyping up a British fighter. That's all.

1) This was written by Fury's promoter Frank Warren. Reading is good for you.

2) Wilder only has two fighters worth a damn on his resume. Yet one of them is an unproven hype job where corruption bailed Wilder out by giving him extra time to recover. The other was the worst version of Fury where Wilder didn't even win but yet again had corruption on his side by ripping Fury off. Wilder only went after the fight because of the state Fury was in. That's a cowards move. But then again, Wilder IS the biggest coward in the sport.
