Comments Thread For: Hearn: We Won't Give In, WBC Must Guarantee Whyte His Shot!

Eddie Hearn, promoter for Dillian Whyte, will not back away from pressuring the WBC to solidify a mandatory title shot for heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte. Whyte has been sitting in the WBC's number one position for almost 600 days. For whatever reason, earlier this year the sanctioning body passed Whyte over - and ordered number three rated Dominic Breazeale to get a mandatory shot at current world champion Deontay Wilder.

    WBC is in haymons pocket

Painfully obvious ..... only guys to get a shot are pbc fighters and a out of shape coke head (who he lost to)

Whyte won’t get a shot untill fury officially takes the belt

Sigh... these ****ing guys choosing to be ignorant once again. Oscar Rivas is ranked #10 in the current WBC rankings. Constantly these crybabies choose to pick an opponent w/o ensuring that they are the official final eliminator. Then they want to throw a ***** fit when things don’t go their way. **** off. Now they want to dictate when the mandatory bout will actually happen, w/o even holding the mandatory status? A couple of smug *****es these two are.

Dillian the fraud pretending he wants the fights he knows he isnt going to get, and running from the fights he can get.

Already run from AJ and a guaranteed shot at 3 belts (twice this year), and run from Parker rematch.

I bet if Wilder sent him a contract he would run away. and start shouting about wanting to fight Fury.

Whyte has never turned down a final eliminator for mandatory position.

He was scheduled to fight Breazeale for mandatory and Breazeale pulled out to fight Deyonce Wilder instead.

Then the WBC ordered a Fury v Whyte final eliminator and Fury pulled out too.

Whyte has been #1 for 600 days and the WBC are still shafting him to protect Wilder.

Idk why these brits Hearn and that gym sweeper Whyte thinks he’s special. It’s been 600 days and whyte refuses to participate in a final Eliminator as per WBC Rules and Regulations 3.7 $ 3.23. Dillian The Domestic Dosser Whyte also turned down an IBF final eliminator against Pulev. This bum Whyte obviously doesn’t want to fight for a title of any kind.

Whyte turned down fighting Ortiz in a final eliminator. All the U.K. lies and propaganda won’t change the fact that that bum Dillian Whyte has turned down the most title opportunities in the history of the division

When Breazeale's shot at a mandatory fell through they allowed him to fight Molina for it. Whyte's shot fell through shouldn't he be given the same treatment? At least he's actually ranked #1 which Breazeale was not.

Wrong. Breazeale was mandatory so how could Whye-Ortiz be a final eliminator? Ortiz turned down a fight with Whyte, he trainer admitted it.
