So they track app downloads and any revenue these apps get from customers. But right now they only track app downloads and revenue from Apple Store and Google Play. According to ESPN Canelo's fight on May 4 alone generated over 48M in new subscription revenue for DAZN. Last year in the official 2018 yearly revenue reports DAZN generated an avg of over 23M per month in subscription revenue. We know at minimum 11.5M last month came from people who paid directly on Apple Store and Google Play. This doesn't count for anyone who signed up and paid directly on DAZN website, Amazon App store or any other third party app store and all the other ways someone paid DAZN. The website doesn't claim to know the full revenue all these apps generate nobody does. But shows you how they compare to their competition in downloads and revenue on these 2 apps stores. DAZN more then doubled their next competition in sports apps.
