Comments Thread For: Hearn: Anthony Joshua Will Come Back and Rule Again

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and top contender Tyson Fury have been very critical of Anthony Joshua in the aftermath of the British star's sensational defeat. Back on June 1, Joshua was shocked by heavy underdog Andy Ruiz at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

If Eddie didn't talk so much shit, a lot more people would be rooting for Joshua to do just that.

Even if he beat Ruiz, he can no longer put Wilder or Fury off to the side to claim back his so called dominance of the heavy weight division! He has to beat these two to get that back.

Andy Ruiz removed the aura of invincibility that Joshua had.

It will take years to regain that. If he can even regain it at all.

Great post! Belts mean nothing! He has to beat the best to be the best! The winner of Wilder vs. Fury II is the King, until proven otherwise!

Nah, can’t rule again if you haven’t yet ruled. Nobody is currently ruling the division and won’t until Fury, Wilder and the winner of this rematch have settled things ....if that should ever happen.

I don't think he ever had an aura of invincibility, many always felt Fury would beat him.

Ruiz did remove his unbeaten record though, and for US casual fans and media, that affects their perception of him.

Joshua really needs to beat Ruiz, Wilder and Fury to restore his reputation, but I don't think he can beat Fury.
