    I've been disinterested with Nietes for a long time simply because he kept fighting in the Philippines and did not seek to fight the best in the division. It was like we have Pacquiao who welcomed all comers and we also have Nietes who played it safe.

    I dont know if it is too late for him but I'm glad he went out of his home court.

    It could have been great has he fought a prime Chocolatito or Estrada or even Villoria, Darchinyan and Donaire. Lots of names he missed on.

      All the top fighters in his division didn't want to fight him, maybe because of high risk and low reward.
