      DSG vs Salka.

Basically any fighter who is ranked highly in their division, or in the top 10 P4P list, and then fights a very low ranked opponent, way outside the top 10 of their division in The Ring rankings.

Tommy Morrison vs. Tim Tomashek for the WBO heavyweight title.

Morrison was supposed to fight Mike Williams but Williams wouldn't come out of his dressing room at fight time. In the crowd was journeyman Tomashek who was 34-10. So as they the say the "show must go on", Tomashek left the seats, threw on some boxing gear and fought for the WBO heavyweight title on less than 30 minutes notice before a national audience.

Just as ******ed as those 155lb “middleweight” bouts IMO

              This is the correct answer.

As for "real" fights, out of the ones I've seen I think it's got to be Canelo v JCC. Jr. came in looking in good shape, it was a PPV event on Cinqo de Mayo between two famous Mexican names, and despite all of Jr's flaws he'd never been scared to go toe to toe before. I thought he'd try and drag Canelo into a brawl to negate his superior skills somewhat and win through activity and toughness. All in all it looked like we'd at least get a somewhat entertaining fight. What we got instead from Chavez was probably the most insulting showing ever in a PPV fight. He did the bare minimum to avoid getting hurt just so he could cash his cheque (that those strippers stole from him afterwards.) I was in the UK and it was on Sky so I recorded it and watched it back without paying extra, and I truly pity anyone who paid even a cent to watch that crap. I felt robbed of the thirty-six minutes it took me to watch it.

Funny thing is that Canelo’s team were the first to suggest 152...

Luis Ortiz v Dave Allen was actually ridiculous at the time it was made.

Allen was basically a novice and probably area title level in UK and Ortiz was a top 5 HW at the time, supposedly.

Awful mismatch, whoever sanctioned it is a disgrace and Eddie Hearn was a disgrace for making that fight. People didn’t think much about it because Allen is popular, but in reality he was ranked one notch above actual journeyman bums. Disgusting match on paper, when you take Allen’s popularity out of the equation.

Allen has improved since then and has more experience so people forget what a disgrace that fight was.
