Problem is - and my avi proves it - Crawford's low blow was anything BUT accidental. He knew exactly what he was doing. Work the body, then go low and make Khan feel so sick he can't continue.
Fact is, Crawford couldn't knock out the so-called "glass jaw", got frustrated, squared up and threw low with all his power. Freddie Norwood couldn't throw a better one. Andrew Golota couldn't throw a better one.
Khan was pushing his head down when he was clinching. I've seen many footages of Khan clinching on purpose whenever we closes in and misses his punches. I'd be doing the same thing if I was Crawford, make him pay whenever he does that habit. Khan quitting was not part of the plan. Now I'm starting to understand more why Horn couldn't bully Crawford the way he did to Pacquiao.
Plus, let's not pretend that Crawford wasn't breaking Khan in that fight before the low blow. We could give that 2 or 3 more rounds and Khan would've still quitted in a worse way. And also, what the hell happened in that 1st round if Crawford couldn't knock Khan then?
If he can some how talk Crawford into a catch weight that's the only way i would be interested in this fight.
I say fight horn.
Completely agree with you. Had not thought of a Horn fight. He has just enough name cred that would work. Keeps all avenues open to the Khan match less and less people care about but both fighters still think would be Ali-Frazier type interesting in their own minds. If Brook only has 2 fights left in him, Horn/Khan is way more appealing to his long term health than Crawford/Khan.
Actually, I am no longer sure he can even beat Horn. That guy is limited, but is all in every fight.
Kell Brook has a bad management team. He fought a dangerous GGG, a dangerous Spence, and now he's aiming for a dangerous Crawford. He should have put that bum Khan in there somewhere. While Brook is a good fighter, he is taking all of the fights that will definitely lead to an early retirement.
I would bet that its Brook who wanted those fights & not his "bad management team." Nothing wrong with Brook wanting AND getting the fights he wants. WTF are we fans of the sport to see a management team not promote good fights like golovkin ducking all these fights?? Fvk the dumb shet.

"At the end of the day", Khan's chin was not tested properly. Because Terence Crawford helped debunk the theory that Khan has a glass jaw because he couldn't keep the dude down. Either that or he has no power, which is more likely.
Knocking a guy down is easy - Khan was down in the fight before this. Can you KEEP him down (which BTW Danny Garcia did with ease against a BETTER, HEALTHIER Amir Khan)?
Crawford decided, damn, he got up. F me...and proceeded to low blow the MF'er in frustration.
More power to him for stopping dirty tactics, unlike Manny. All I'm saying is, do it right. Spark him on the chin like everyone else expects you to do. Don't go low. Floyd didn't do that. Manny didn't do that. Thurman didn't do that. Spence didn't do that. Great fighters don't need to attack balls. Danny Garcia took Amir Khan out the correct way. Why couldn't Crawford do that? That's my problem with him at 147, he seems incapable of getting a non-asterisk win for some damn reason and he's being overrated when he hasn't even fought an elite fighter yet.

I agree with what you said. However i don't think he can beat horn either lol. I just think there's money to be made for him in Australia if he took the fight.
It doesn't matter how many fights Brook wants with dangerous fighters, it's good to have some "no men" on a boxer's team. I'm fine with the fact that Brook challenged himself by fighting GGG. But then he went into a fight with Spence next. Those were reckless back to back fights with bigger, stronger, and almost invincible fighters. He suffered serious damage in those fights because he clearly fought outside his weight class against two of the best. Fighters like Canelo and Floyd were smart. They fought at catch weights. Because of Brooks and his team's poor decisions, Brook is looking at retirement because his body has suffered greatly, with nothing to show for it. I'm all for the best fighting the best, but I'm not for fighters making reckless decisions that can cost them their careers and health.
