I don't recall Fury ever getting consistently hit in the head other than getting dropped twice by arguably the hardest puncher in boxing right now.
If you don't recall Fury getting hit then u clearly haven't watched a single Fury fight.

Fury gets hit and put on ***** Street repeatedly by overmatched bums throughout his career. That's something that has never and will never happen with Canelo.

That's not counting the time when he got dropped on his ass by a cruiser.

Go actually watch a Fury fight before starting a thread on him.

I know who Steve Cunningham is. What's your point? Everyone can get caught.

Tyson is a completely different fighter to the version that fought Cunningham etc. He changed his style from a brawler to a boxer, I assumed every one knew this?

Some boxers get better over time, Fury now has a far better defence than he once did.

David HAYE at his peak had a better defense than Tyson Fury.

Tyson Fury's defense is good, but if it was that good he would not have been decked numerous times.

At every level he has been fighting on? He has been decked, which means fighters can land their biggest punchers upon him.

Also lets remember that Canelo is a smaller fighter moving up through the weights, his defense is more tested and proven.

That's a poor assessment. This is heavyweight boxing. Anyone can get floored.

By your logic david haye had a better defense than muhammad Ali because ali has been decked numerous times.

David haye was a runner, not a defensive specialist, who counters off the roll or stays in the pocket. David haye didnt stay in the pocket.

Does Tyson Fury stay in the pocket or something? He may put his hands in his pockets from time to time, but inside a boxing ring against any opponent at elite level he does not stay in the pocket.

Even though Fury is 6"9 he fights on the back foot against 100% of his opponents at elite level 'Because he is a one trick pony, zero inside game at elite level' I have been stating this for over 1 year, and will continue to state it.

David Haye was 6"3 heavyweight fighting with all the so called statistically advantages stacked against him. Haye was a ambush fighter at heavyweght 'He also a higher KO percentage than Tyson Fury, so by you stating that he was a runner is incredibly wrong.

Canelo Alvarez's defense has been more tested and proven than Tyson Fury's.

                Canelo is vastly superior.

Can we get some of those defensive GIFs from his Trout and Jacobs fight.

Canelo has the better defense and it isn’t close. Canelo has never been dropped by a windmilling bum. Canelo rarely gets hit clean and that’s all from head and body movement.

Fury’s defense consists of a lot of foot movement, which I don’t consider defense. If everyone used foot movement as defense we would never see a fight. Fury does have nice head and body movement though, just not better than Canelo’s.

Fury does stay in the pocket and he counters off the shoulder roll as well as off the ropes. He does everything. He fights on the backfoot and he fights in the pocket and off the ropes.

David haye reset the fight by using his athleticism as well as his smaller size(smaller target) to reset, unlike fury who's nonstop setting you up or jabbing.

Also david haye fought much weaker opposition. Don't sit there and tell me david haye wasn't running from klitschko. He was running half the fight.

A windmilling bum who happens to be the hardest puncher in boxing history. If Wilder hits you cleanly with his right hand, its more likely to drop you than getting hit by Matthew Hatton.

Canelo has an excellent defence, but it didn't stop him from losing to GGG.
