I was banned from one boxing site because I quoted one of my favorite trainers alongside with Floyd Mayweather Sr. The man I quoted, Angel Garcia, had this to day about Amir Khan:

Goyat is the #229 Welterweight in the world, this is worse than GGG fighting the #87 middleweight.

Goyat is 11-3-2. Four of those fights are vs opponents making their debuts. All of his opponents have equally atrocious records.

Nothing wrong with khan fighting at his level.

If khan gets knocked out, that would be legendary.

Must admit I never heard of this guy before, probably like most people here. Watched his fight and the guy looked quite agile with good head movement. Can give Khan some trouble if Khan comes under pressure. It will be somewhat like an AJ-Ruiz situation.

You come in to fight a low-ranked guy, everyone expects you to win in style, and if you aren't able to hurt the guy quickly, you start feeling the pressure and losing confidence in yourself. I am not sure Khan has any better nerves or a chin than Joshua had. The only silver lining being that Goraj is no Ruiz. But he is the WBC Asian title holder like Ruiz was the NABF title holder.

It might be a low-ranked opponent that generates little interest among non Indo-Paks, but Khan better take this seriously.
