They're trying to make more money by letting people salivate, that's all.

Hopefully the rematch does not implode like Wilder vs Joshua.

Fighting guys like who he just fought isnt gonna draw any more interest than whats already there. If anything, i think people will lose interest watching fury fight no hopers while running from the rematch. Sounds like an excuse to justify random ducking by fury if you ask me.

Because Fury got a $100million to sign with Arum, meaning he didn't need to fight Wilder immediately, on another PBC card.

Fury and Wilder both got a lot of media attention KO'ing "bums" instead of fighting each other. That's going to make their rematch even bigger, when it does happen.

BINGOOOoo ! If Anthony Joshua (and I'm even going to say Tom Schwartz and anybody in between), are "not allowed to talk, and carry 0 weight on any boxing topic", what does that say for the cynical, foul mouthed, know-it-all, bystanders, consistently venting by way of a KEYBOARD !? Our opinion carries MUCH more weight, right ? It's farcical, really.

I mean I get that it's just 'funnin' and 'gamin' to a certain extent, and that it's good to have interest in the sport, but I wonder if a lot of these fans take it farther than fandom, in their minds.
I know a couple of these lads actually believe they could simply put in an 8 week training camp with a decent trainer, and get a SD win over Tom Schwartz, if they felt like it. LOL. I'm not kidding. The 24 previous opponents were actual boxers, not keyboard cheerleaders and analysts, but they somehow LOST.
Maybe a couple rounds with one of these bums would adjust the inflated opinion certain boxing "forum gurus" have of themselves.

Lol. Ortiz was the wba #1 and avoided by all the "top" guys, and still is till this day. TILL THIS DAY!!! Lol. Stiverne was the wbc mandatory for years before he won the belt and was the mandatory when wilder fought him again. In fact, wasnt he suppose to expose wilder as a 4 round hype job because he was so much more experienced as a pro??? Liahovich was a former champion who was a gatekeeper for the new crop to go to the next level. He went long hard rounds with jennings, helenius, got ko'd by wilder in 1, and was robbed against the current 3 belt champion ruiz jr. When was he considered shot around those times??? Harrison had just won the prizefighter tournament, and called out wilder. This was around the time when the Olympic gold medalist had supposedly beat wilder to a pulp in sparring and made him cry. According to the stories. Regardless....all these guys should have exposed this horrible boxer. Dont you agree???

It was short notice for both but AJ was suppose to fight back in January. Then April, then June.

Such a long layoff but Hearn did AJ no favors with that sht.

Ruiz Just came off a full camp so he was ready and even got five rounds in.
