Comments Thread For: Wilder: Fury's Win Was 'OK' - Schwarz Was a Punching Bag

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder was not overly impressed with Tyson Fury's performance on Saturday night. Fury made his Las Vegas debut when he crushed undefeated Tom Schwarz in two rounds at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. It was Fury's first bout since his controversial December draw with Wilder, which took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles

Wilder would definitely know what a punching bag is, he fought like 39 of those bags.

Thats just Wilders roundhouse way of saying he was impressed!
Sure the opponent wasnt elite, but Wilder should be used to fighting that type of competition.

All in all it was an A star entrance and an A star performance with Fury giving us a taste of his array of weapons. Its the Irish blood in him

Ya know... Wilder may want to get Fury out of his head, or Ortiz will knock it out of there for him. THAT would derail all kinds of plans now, wouldn't it?

You tell em about it champ! We know what's up! No one's falling for the bullshit except for the casual fan, himself and his fanboys. This is the real champion talking here; None other than the "Bronze Bomber" Deontay Wilder.

Ok, whatever you say fanboy. He was an overmatched low risk opponent. That's why Fury cherrypicked him.

didnt i say he wasnt an elite fighter!! you just cant help but show your hardness for deontay. The facts are that Fury's skills are on a far higher level than anyone else in the heavyweight division and he has the charisma and good nature to go along with it. You call me a fanboy but listen to terrnece crawford, shakur stevenson, teofimo discuss his performance. you focis on his opponent instead of looking at the skills he displayed. Who's the fanboy u numpty
