    Tyson Fury’s next possible opponent

A Friend of mines father is close with someone in Frank Warrens promotional team and word is they are targeting this Russian as his next opponent in Vegas again

Anyone know much about him? See he has a loss to Bryant Jennings but is ranked higher than Schwarzt

    They should fight Romanov instead.

      Can’t see it. He’s 6’1”.

Davison has said he wants to fight tall opposition before the Wilder rematch, which is why they fought Schwarz who was 6’5”.

Some are saying Pulev but Pulev said in an interview he wants his IBF Mandatory shot before fighting Fury and they can do it after that. So that won’t happen either.

I don’t have any clue if he’s a potential opponent for Fury but he definitely fits the profile of a guy who will get a shot at a highly ranked contender soon. The promoters love guys with pretty records who haven’t lost in 6 years. It’s easy to make those guys seem like credible threats.

Lol yeah that would be no surprise to me.

Fury should fight someone in the top 15 to test himself at least before he jumps back in with Wilder.

Pulev would be a good one. He has a nice jab and right hand and is also a big heavyweight. Just like they want..

Ben Davison confirmed they turned down Rivas because he was too short. They only want tall heavyweights so Fury won't have to adjust his style

I see Bob Arum's plan is to turn Fury into an "honorary American" and get the Americans to cheer him on by pitting him against Euros and Russians instead of American opponents. Plus the opponents' styles are tailor-made for Fury; they have no agility, slippery movement, or unpredictability. Bob Arum is feeding his man pies instead of hearty meals. He's spoiling him, fattening him up with no-risk, easy fights. Meanwhile Deontay is lurking in the shadows, training hard for a crafty Cuban southpaw, and developing new tactics for future battles.

Fury cant seriously keep telling everyone he's the best and take fights like these. Ha Arum will run his career into the ground and everyone will wonder where is the build up to a wilder fight with opponents like these. Ruiz would be Furys second best win not sure where hes going with Ruiz isn't a good fighter when hes fighting guys like Schwartz either ? Makes no sense.

Dillian Whyte would be available. Why the Hell not? Like Wilder, he is a pretty decent puncher also. I just don't see how these soft touches are helping his career.

I believe Team Tyson are preserving him for Deontay Wilder because they know the risks involved; That he could get knocked out if he's in with a lucky opponent.

So don't expect Fury to fight anyone halfway dangerous with a serious punch because it's too risky. They are protecting him from potential asswhuppings.
