AJ hasn’t fought Wilder and Fury.

AJ needed to fight the top guys and has not.

The issue is Dazn fractured the market and got 3 names and then scrubs.

Epic failure by Hearn and Matchroom.

Ruiz is PBC fighter but he has not TV deal. I think his deal is a different one because Matchroom/DAZN have the first option on his next 2-3 fights based on the contract he signed.

It's too late to point fingers now. All Joshua can do is learn how to use his size and movement or lose again.
Naturally supposed to beat albeit things happened before the fight. But he's not a bum. Ruiz is a proper boxer and stylistically and height wise, was always a terrible match-up.

Josh will box in the rematch and spark him out in the later rounds. But that doesn't negate how much of a dumb shythouse Hearn is and the fact that Matchroom is coming to end in the next few years. Hearn is going to get one of his young fighters badly hurt soon. And Josh will most likely leave Matchroom next year.

Hearn just went with Ruiz because he has plans to get him on DAZN after since he has no TV deal.

Add that to all the Wilder crap Hearn kept making the whole fight about talking about Josh needs to go out of character and question Wilder's manhood. Josh wasn't even feeling it and you could tell by the look on his eyes when Hearn suggested it. And the fight itself should've been cancelled but what transpired will come out in the public on a later date because there's time for everything.
I agree, that he had ton of pressure on him that night; By looking impressive in matching or surpassing Wilder's performance against Dominic Breazeale and looking at a potential Wilder fight next. It's what distracted him and caused him to lose focus on Andy Ruiz, Jr. All during AJ fight week in the states, the whole narrative was about Deontay Wilder.

Anyone want to start a poll on whether the OP is:

              A - Frank Warren
              B - Shelley Finkel
              C - Bob Arum
              D - AJ's Father

Doesn't seem like an AJ fan if he doesn't think AJ should be beating Ruiz or fighting decent opponents. Also I doubt Hearn had AJ's family hostage in his basement incase AJ didn't want to go to America SMH.

Matchroom doesn’t have options for 2-3 fights.

I know hindsight is 20/20 but Joshua could have gotten KOed by Wilder for twice the money. Just sayin............
