Comments Thread For: Fury: I'll Figure Out Schwarz Within First Five Seconds Of Fight

Tyson Fury scoffed Monday when asked if he has watched footage of Tom Schwarz's fights. The undefeated former IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion claimed during a conference call that he doesn't need to study Schwarz's style to feel confident about beating his largely unknown opponent. He'll learn all he needs to know, according to Fury, as soon as their scheduled 12-round fight starts Saturday night at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

    C'mon Tyson, pull yourself together.

If you don't put Tom flat on his back, you're washed up!

Unless Schwarz is another Ruiz, he should take him out in a first rounder.

Fury is laughable acting like he's number one. In what Universe does #1 face #56? Arum and Fury act like Tom Schwarz is a machine but if you watch his fight against Gashi, it's obvious he is WELL below top level. This further proves how mentally diluted Fury is and he would have to have mental health problems to think he's number one when fighting this type of opposition. He talks about other heavyweights fighting bums when all the guys the other top heavyweight have fought would knockout tom Schwarz in 4 rounds or less. I can't wait for Fury to lose and go off the rails again and disappear!

19 KO’s in 27 Wins. Not a bad record at all.

Heavyweight Malignaggi, ridiculous thing to say.

He has a similar KO% to Whyte and Povetkin, both of which are considered good punchers. The difference is Fury can outbox people easily so he rarely sits down on his shots.
