Comments Thread For: Wilder Partially Blames Hearn For Joshua Getting Embarrassed

Deontay Wilder doesn't blame only Anthony Joshua for the former heavyweight champion's upset loss to Andy Ruiz Jr. The unbeaten WBC heavyweight champ holds his promoter accountable for Joshua's surprising defeat, too. Wilder feels Eddie Hearn helped build Joshua into an unbeatable, larger-than-life figure before Ruiz scored one of the biggest upsets in boxing history by stopping Joshua in the seventh round June 1 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

... So: fat boy Ruiz mopped the floor with Joshua... four times until AJ quit...

... So: Wilder could have taken whatever Hearn's offer and he could have sent AJ into oblivion... which Wilder didn't...

    ... therefore: Hearn is guilty...

... well... that's how it works...

The embarrassment is letting Andy swoop in and take what should have been yours(wilders) glory.

It is true. AJ is not that good.

Ruiz is better, he beat the hell out of AJ

AJ is maybe a top 20 HW.

hope the fight with Wilder and Joshua can easily get made now that he would be thinking he can also knock him out, I still believe Joshua beat Wilder tho.

Until Wilder beats Ruiz he shouldn’t have nothing to say. Ruiz gonna give ANYONE a serious fun including Wilder. What Wilder should be worried about is how a ”no- name guy “ went in there and had ZERO problems with a guy that Wilder wouldn’t fight.

Andy Ruiz will get all d credit for beating up a concussed fighter before fight night. Rematch is imminent, let's see if that was Ruiz. That said Wilder never had a degree if confidence to face AJ until he fought a guy with a heart Wilder still recuperating from injuries from training. ***** happens

I blame Wilder for being a slave to Finkel and doing as his daddy tells him like a good boy

                  Still nothing new with Deontay.
He's been blaming Hearn since day one.
Well, Hearn won't be paying any more attention to you now.
Which is an excellent idea for a change.
You're like a hard-to-please girl who the more they pay attention, the more you turn away.
You're a boxer. 3 title shots plus millions of dollars weren't enough motivation.
                  You wanted retirement money. GREED.
Ruiz got all of it without the pu&&iness you displayed.

                    Silly stuff, this.

It's a promoters job to hype his fighters and their fights as much as he possibly can. If the fighter doesn't live up to the hype, that's his fault, not his promoter's.

If Fury gets KTFO by Shwartz, should we blame Bob Arum for over-hyping Tyson?
