I don't agree that people have been saying the lighter the better for Wilder.

He came in at 223 lbs the last fight and had crazy ko power against Brezeale more so than when he couldn't put Fury down at 209 lbs fight night.

It don't matter what weight deontay is he still will be quick athletic and agile.and even at his smallest that power never leaves him.and I think deontay being so quick with that long reach and athletic it will be easy pickings for deontay

Wilder wins obviously. Wilder is not allowed to lose. If he gets hurt he will be given extra time to recover and if he gets outboxed the judges will have him covered with pre filled out score cards. Hes faced 2 decent fighters in his 42 fight career and got questionable help both times to help see him over the line. That is why he wouldnt go to the UK to face either Joshua or Fury.

It's not as simple as 'what would happen?'. Both fighters would need to adapt to being very different styles. Whoever adapts best, wins.

Wilder would need to stay patient, not trade, wait for his chance, keep Ruiz at range, only finish him when he's broken down. Basically, all the things Joshua didn't do.

Ruiz would need to wait for Wilder to throw the shot he shouldn't and then counter and swarm him.

Wilder is basically at his physical best when he's between 210lbs and 220lbs; Andy Ruiz is at his physical best when he's 245-255lbs (he'd be sub 240lbs in a perfect world but whatever)
