Tyson Fury can thank his lucky stars that Deontay Wilder threw him a lifeline to challenge for his WBC title to come over here to fight in America in the first place.

We have a lot of Gypsies here, why not another that has lineal claim to the biggest prize in the history of sport? Welcome to Tyson. Your namesake prophecy is fulfilled.

That said, does anyone here think that Ruiz would seriously lay a decent glove on Fury? I don't think so.

Wilder can thank his lucky stars that the judges gifted him a draw when he got his ass beat and schooled 10 rounds to 2.

Chances are he was probably doping. He didn't start the VADA testing protocol until well into his training camp; Six or seven weeks to be exact and yet Wilder still nearly put him away and would have put him away had it been another referee. Had it not been for Jack Reiss, Fury would have been knocked out and probably wouldn't have never beaten the count.

Oh come on, that issue has been settled long ago, and the video is online - Fury was obviously not unconscious, and he did beat the count, like it or not, like him or not. Reiss did a very good job actually, which is also obvious when you look at the way the rest of the round went (i.e. Fury dominating it). Reiss' assessment was spot on.

I do agree with you though that Fury should include Wilder in his evening prayer for the rest of his life - without Wilder, Fury would be nowhere today.

                    Did Fury beat the count.

                    A simple yes or no.

Yes, he beat Jacks Reiss' ten count but not a ten second count. It's difference. I believe that Reiss was about a split second too slow in his count.
