How about Whyte? He has been number 1 challenger to the WBC belt for over 500(!!) days now. He's actually beaten decent fighters. I can't think of anyone more obvious to prove your credentials against. How can you say you're the WBC champ when you constantly avoid the WBC no.1 contender??
I genuinely think Wilder is a good fighter but in no way can he legit mock AJ until he fights some proper fighters himself.
whyte is a decent name, id love to see that fight, Ortiz hasn't done anything, nobody has outside of aj and wilder... that's the issue,
