A loss doesn't matter that is true, but a joke is a bum that lost to another bum...had they not made him look like the best thing since pants with pockets, people would have been more understanding of his L...but Ajoke is a bum..the fight means nothing now, because we all know wilder will knock his head to the moon

Maybe Wilder got a gift, but Fury never wants to win like that again.

There's no excuse. A man who cannot master his emotions is like a city without walls. I'm going to recommend a book by TD Jake's for you and Wilder.

If Joshua gets the KO (especially if it's in MSG), everything returns to normal! If Joshua gets a decision in the UK, the money is f**ked up!

I don't think Wilder needs a retirement package. He's made plenty enough money already to retire a comfortable man. He'll make millions more fighting Ortiz, Fury, Ruiz and the Joshua fight will still be there for an extra $20 million or more. I believe part of the reason Joshua lost to Ruiz was he was too comfortable and unfocused because of all the money he already has. Now that he has lost the wealth can be shared among all the top heavyweights. Best thing to happen.

That's true but styles do make fights. Losing to Fury doesn't mean he would lose to Joshua because "styles do make fights".

(Proverbs 25:28) . . .As a city broken through, without a wall, Is the man who cannot control his temper. . .

Great quote from someone who is never wrong.

Don’t believe the hype, Wilder doesn’t have that much money.

I just think Fury and Joshua should have taken the higher road as soon as Joshua lost and stuck with that because it’s still a business at the end of the day. Fury did initially say supportive things through Twitter the night of the fight but then he started trashing Joshua the very next day and since then which hurts his money a little bit later on. Both Fury and Wilder should have said, hey it’s the HW division, it’s 1 loss, styles make fights; Joshua is still a great fighter, a threat in this division, and he will win the rematch. We are still looking at a mega fight with him down the road after he takes care of business. And they should keep saying that every time someone puts a microphone in their face, regardless of what the boxing public thinks about Joshua. What good will it do them for a future lucrative fight if they call Joshua garbage just to elevate their own status every chance they get. It’s not a smart narrative to push or business wise. And both should be hoping and praying he wins the rematch against Ruiz in spectacular fashion. I like Ruiz a lot but everyone was looking forward to Joshua/Fury and Joshua/Wilder. Ruiz/Wilder and Ruiz/Fury is good for pure boxing fans like a lot of us on this forum but those other boxing fans that are drawn to the optics of boxing, Fury & Wilder need that money too.

I think you speak for most of us with that on point comment... Wilder himself is a guy who's said he's not afraid of losing.....so if a fellow heavyweight does happen to lose(?), he ultimately wants him to bounce back - to at least get the big money back in rotation.....even if it's commercial Team-Hearn with their stalling tactics, flat fee offers, intentional vague contracts, and all types of ducking maneuvers,.......
