Either way, Ruiz is a nice little story. But even if he manages to get past AJ in their rematch. And that’s a pretty big “if.” I think Fury easily outpoints him and Wilder concusses him.Last edited by NachoMan; 06-13-2019, 04:43 PM.

Now that Joshua snd this team have seen what Andy Ruiz is all about I think they can make the necessary adjustments to come back and win the rematch. Otherwise it will be such a waste of AJ talent if they don't

Lucky for Ruiz, he found the PBC option and now look at where he's at. I don't care what dedicated keyboard trolls say, Haymon is giving boxers the opportunities they crave. And I don't hear any complaints from those who have skin in the game.

I think GRJ just realized HE'S wasted 4 or 5 years & is trying to dumb up interest in his career is whats really going on right now.
Tim Smith was talking about this last year after GRJ had his one fight for the year that GRJ only wants to fight once a year & now this year suddenly when his one fight for the year goes down he's trying to act like he's been waiting for something for 4 years.

Seriously, people, actions and words these days are the most retårded, "If you do not stop being proud of your heritage I will start disliking you" That sounds soooo ******!!!

When I wrote that topic asking why did Top Rank give up on Ruiz after a close fight with Parker y'all told me Top Rank didn't give up on him. Yall said Ruiz was to blame
"I had to buy out my contract. I was a bit sad at the time because they did not give me fights. Since then I've signed with PBC and they have brought*me fights and thank God I got the opportunity for the world championship," Ruiz said.

Does he become the lineal champ again? Fury needs to properly beat AJ and Wilder to be considered 'lineal' if he ducks then he is just a fraud running his mouth whilst fighting bums like scwharz.
As for your stance on the Klitschko brothers, I agree. I always considered Vitali better. And I felt Vitali was the true heavyweight champ while he was active.
As for Fury, and his claim to the legitimate heavyweight title. His claim to being the man definitely faded during his inactivity. But IMO, no one stepped forward and established himself as the clear cut top guy. And when Fury did return, he arguably beat one of the guys with a claim to the top spot. So to me, he’s done enough, along with nobody else establishing himself, to at least need to be beaten for someone to claim heavyweight supremacy. Just my opinion.
BTW, why would Fury need to beat AJ to become the top guy in the division? AJ is pretty much irrelevant until he cleans up that mess he made a couple weeks ago.

Tyson Fury did not beat the man who beat the man...who beat John. L. Sullivan. There is no such thing as a lineal champion in the HW division or in any other division for that matter. Not sure why this fallacy persists in the boxingsphere.

This time it’s his career on the line.
But at the end of the day, I think he’s better than Ruiz. I also think that what happen to him in the first fight is fixable. He basically got caught going for the kill. If he stays patient and uses his physical advantages, he should be fine in the rematch.
