Well, Wilder is definitely a piece of the puzzle that needs to be dealt with for Ruiz to become the real heavyweight champion. But to correct him. No one can become the true heavyweight champ without beating Fury. He’s the man that beat the man that beat the man. Simple as that.

Either way, Ruiz is a nice little story. But even if he manages to get past AJ in their rematch. And that’s a pretty big “if.” I think Fury easily outpoints him and Wilder concusses him.

Ruiz needs to remember that many of his fans are not Mexican, while it's wonderful that Mexico can finally celebrate a HW champion, he needs to stop laying it on so thick, he is starting to sound like a nationalist.

The HW is the champion for everyone, this PR campaign was awesome at first, but is quickly getting over the top.

Ruiz would seriously risk his life against Wilder, since he won't ever quit and go forward, on and on

He's got the tools to beat Joshua again but only with the challenger kind of mentality he showed last time .Anything else will find him flat out on the canvas.

Are we seriously gonna pretend that this guy can compete with Wilder, Fury or even Joshua again??

Ruiz explained that his career began to turn for the better when he left Top Rank and signed on with Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions.

"I had to buy out my contract. I was a bit sad at the time because they did not give me fights. Since then I've signed with PBC and they have brought me fights and thank God I got the opportunity for the world championship," Ruiz said.

                Terence Crawford...take notes!!!!

What do you mean fury is the man that beat the man that beat the man? Wladimir never beat Lewis if anything Vitali was the better of the brothers. Let's say for some reason by default he was the lineal, then when he retired he lost it like Lewis did? He said he retired several times when he was away. What if Lewis returns? Does he become the lineal champ again? Fury needs to properly beat AJ and Wilder to be considered 'lineal' if he ducks then he is just a fraud running his mouth whilst fighting bums like scwharz.

No risk. One-punch knockouts are the safest ones, and that is how it will end for Ruiz against Wilder if they ever fight. Exactly as in the last one against Breazeale.
