  • Comments Thread For: Andy Ruiz: After Beating Joshua, I'll Talk To Sulaiman About Wilder

After becoming the unified heavyweight champion by stopping Anthony Joshua in seven rounds, Andy Ruiz is pushing to have the rematch take place in Mexico so that his fans can see him. "The entire [Mexican] race has supported me a lot and it feels good. I don't want to say that they love me, but I am very proud of everything. We are already in talks with them to fight here in Mexico City," Ruiz said.

After joshua flattens ruiz he should turn heel. Nice guys dont last long as champions look at chocolatito knocked spark out , miguel cotto got iced by a cheater. Golovkin getting robbed in the first fight maybe if he was a heel it would lead to him being a draw and removing the bias of judges

Getting away from Bob Arum was the best move Andy Ruiz could have made.

I'm afraid that Joshua is damaged goods after Ruiz knocked him out.

Yes I’m glad Fury is scared of the rematch and doesn’t want it. Blessing in disguise! Wilder-Ruiz is the fight to see. We don’t want to see some boring cheater dance around the ring for 12rds at Heavyweight.

Further proof that Arum focuses too much on his stars rather than all fighters in his stable. I can only imagine how sick Arum feels now, realizing in hindsight that he could have had the WBA, WBO, IBF Champ and the Lineal Champ under his banner.

Lucky for Ruiz, he found the PBC option and now look at where he's at. I don't care what dedicated keyboard trolls say, Haymon is giving boxers the opportunities they crave. And I don't hear any complaints from those who have skin in the game.

This kid is dope. I think Joshua will be up against it.

Hearn should really think about not taking the rematch
