Now that I think about it, Canelo beating Chavez Jr is an ATG win.

The weight drained Chavez that got in the ring with Canelo couldn't beat even half of Golovkin's opponents. Get real... Did you even watch that fight?? Chavez looked terrible. He looked terrible before the first punch was thrown. The only reason he lasted that long was he has a good chin.

GGG fans were begging for Chavez jr to fight GGG at one point. That is how bad his resume is.

Chavez jr is undoubtedly better than someone like lemieux

He would not beat Lemieux at least the version that got in the ring with Canelo. Maybe in the past he could have but not the Canelo version. Lemieux has two problems. His boxing needs work and he struggles to make weight which affects his stamina. Above 160 his stamina should be OK. His boxing would still be so so but he definately would beat that version of Chavez.

He absolutely would not. Leave it to GGG and BJS fanboys to overrate someone like Lemieux

It would have been a better fight at 168, the weight Golovkin wanted it at.

I always wondered why canelo didn’t KO Chavez. Maybe he got pressured by outside forces to carry him 12. Considering his godfather was suliaman and his baby mama was tied to the cartel. I never really thought it was Chavez chin, always felt it was canelo bit pursuing the KO and trying new things out on a no hoper.

Don't think. You will strain your tiny brain. They both weighed 164 at the weigh in.No massive size disadvantage for Canelo. Chavez was a ten to one underdog and a walking punching bag. Canelo did his job as expected. No big deal. Stop kissing Canelo's ass because he will lose his next fight. He has the big head now and is overconfident and doesn't train as hard. He gassed badly in the 2nd half of the Jacobs fight and only threw a bit over 400 punches which is well below average for middleweights. GGG will knock him out some time in the late rounds in my opinion.
