Seems like most posters on here don't grasp this. Dazn also has a replay option. Dazn makes their money off subscriptions so it makes sense not everyone will tune in on fight night knowing they can reply it immediatley.
Do fans understand that dazn does not get paid from views but from subscriptions?

Yes. The same as Showtime and HBO. Yet people still discussed their ratings -
More to the point numbers are made out of thin air it seems because DAZN don’t publish numbers. It’s. It unique they don’t do it in any of their territories they are in. Sky generally don’t either for info, we often find out months or sometimes years afterwardsComment

why the hell would anyone on here with commonsense give a damn?? we aint getting a dime from it or any other network...Comment

ESPN + does release viewership and subs because it's respectable numbers DAZN doesn't publicly do it other than Canelo last fight for obvious reasonsComment

The trouble with DAZN is their large turnover rate. Many people would only pay for the fights that they want to see. Then after that they would cancel their subscription. So in order to combat this DAZN spiked their subscription price to $20 per month or give you the option of subscribing for the entire year for $99. For example: After Canelo/Jacobs a lot of casual fans canceled their subscriptions.Comment

Not sure of the relevance of espn+. If they want to announce numbers it is up to them, just like it is DAZN. If DAZN haven’t done it in other countries and other than giving an indication of Jacobs/Canelo success haven’t done it in the US either then why do people think they will start? Until they decide a change of approach you should just not expect to find out and judge it through alternative approaches eg illegal streamsComment
