Too early to write him off. Ali also had problems with pressure fighters like Joe Frazier. Henry Cooper also almost beat him.

If he wins the rematch against Ruiz. And beat Fury and Wilder (I know he’ll beat the both of them easily), then he’ll become the best of the generation and the next one (Josh is part of 2 generations...Wilder and Fury are from the last generation and he’ll be part of the new generation in the contender stage right now).

I believe in Josh. Most of those who don’t like him never did and they’re insecure about something, hence they want to make his whole career about the last fight where he had an off night. Make Fury’s career about the McDermott fight and you’ll have worse things to say about his skill set. And McDermott is the true definition of a fat bum. Wilder doesn’t even a resume, he’s just a bum with power. It’s normal for fat, ugly, and broke people to hate on a guy they wish they can be like but can’t.

Ali didn't fight Frazier until after he'd missed 3 years in his prime. Prime Ali embarrasses Frazier.

Hell, he beat Frazier twice and Foreman past his prime, imagine what a 25 year old Ali does to them?

And no, he didn't "almost lose" to Henry Cooper.

He got caught with one good shot, got up and stopped Cooper in the mid rounds. It wasn't like some close decision or something

Ali was a defending champion ,so no. Unless history shows ali involved in PED mess and mental breakdowns ,fury is not the new Ali. lol

What Ali and AJ share is a fast rise to the top with multi title defenses and both beating by K.O , power punchers as the biggest test Liston / Klitchko .

Fury despite his undefeated record has done next to nothing to be considered an ATG.

Joshua has had one loss, and well? Andy Ruiz Junior is a solid fighter, the fight was also not totally one sided.

I still believe that Joshua will come out on top, and become the last man standing 'Just like Lennox Lewis'.

Within the next 3 years, we will know who is the best between Fury, Whyte, Joshua, Wilder and the rest.

                    Talk about history revisionist .

Frazier was past his own prime after 71 and years later Ali defeated him a style that was not meant to go that long .

Many think ali didn't even win all those fights and im one. bc I actually count body shots to and clean punching.

Ali was not saved by the bell either right against Cooper in his 19th fight ? lol

see this is the problem with posters like you ,they LIKE to revise things to have a stance on another fighter.

The hard truth is AJ would never have struggled at any 180 pounder nor a come forward head one of 5'11.

AJ has a far tougher resume then ali even in the 23 fight distance until his recent loss.

The thread itself is ****** bc AJ can still dominate the era which he most likely will despite the dumb detractions on him when Wilder took an L to 50% Fury where were you ? Probably defending the decision right ? lol.

I don't expect much from any wilder fan and you're definatley included so don't bother responding back im not returning to feed the dumbness on this one.

Cooper dropped Ali lol, you must not be familiar with Ali, a couple of light heavies (not even cruisers by todays standards) put him down.
