He deserves everything, when others were turning fights down with Joshua for ten times their usual pay, crying for more hand outs, he begged for the fight.
He bet on himself and knew he had it in him to take those belts, he took risks that others with my experience wouldn’t take. The ones that wanted to take the risk would try to arm himself with PED to get an edge. This guy deserves everything.
He typifies the Mexican warrior and spirit. They fight and work hard for things, they don’t expect hand outs or cheques without working for it. This sort of work ethics is needed in every country.
I hope Mexicans are indeed inspired culturally by a man who speaks to their spirit and tenacity. I predict he will work harder and inspire many more to come.Comment

They kept saying he was the first "Mexican born" heavyweight champion, which is simply not true. He was born in California. No one said he wasn't of Mexican heritage. How exactly does that make me or anyone else a hater or a dumbass because I know the facts and question a bull**** storyline put in place to sell tickets and subscriptions to all the Mexican fans? What country is he actually a citizen of? Even if he is an American citizen if he chooses to fight for Mexico God Bless him. I could care less. Benefits me not one bit if he were to say he was from America. People were only questioning the "Mexican born" storyline because it's not true. I was happy for him, he seems like a nice kid.Comment

His smile is a like a kid who's wish had just come true, not by a fairygodmother but by his own hard work.
Kudos Champ!Comment
