Canelo will most likely move to first once Messi and Ronaldo retire. They're both ancient for soccer players. They have maybe 2 years of prime age left, tops.
Neymar is younger but will fall off after **** charges surfaced a week ago. Sponsors have already started leaving.
So Canelo will be a solid 3rd, maybe first if he fights 3 times instead of twice for the year.Comment

Not sure how wilder got paid so much. Dude couldn’t even sell out in his home town. Either way good for himSo you think that he would get guarantees that high without being able to draw large enough crowds to cover his purse? That's a losing deal for everyone who manages him, so I personally can't see that happening, unless I have to also believe that Finkel/Haymon both don't know how money works. Wilder's PPV debut sold $24M in PPV alone, and his dance partner was a UK guy who had been retired for over 2 years. He's not drawing like Joshua, but he's a bona fide star in the sport. You have to REALLY dislike him if you're unable to admit that. Seriously, $30.5M in 2 fights = star lolComment

Seems like just love to take shots and throw dirt on his name, never mind the fact that the story is false to begin with. Mayweather didn't get "unseated", he retired, and had he not, he most likely would still be the highest paid athlete.Part of Floyd's brand is being the bad guy. So any chance to undermine him in anyway is pro-Floyd's brand anyway so I doubt Floyd cares he's been "unseated" when he wasn't even in the race to begin with. Floyd's name mentioned in any article probably increases the clickability of said article by some nice %.
Almost every news outlet has been repeating the same fake story, which doesn't even make sense because Floyd hasn't fought professionally in not 1, but almost 2 years now so of course he's not going to be the highest paid athlete.Comment
