Canelo will most likely move to first once Messi and Ronaldo retire. They're both ancient for soccer players. They have maybe 2 years of prime age left, tops.

Neymar is younger but will fall off after **** charges surfaced a week ago. Sponsors have already started leaving.

So Canelo will be a solid 3rd, maybe first if he fights 3 times instead of twice for the year.

Wilder's PPV debut sold $24M in PPV alone, and his dance partner was a UK guy who had been retired for over 2 years. He's not drawing like Joshua, but he's a bona fide star in the sport. You have to REALLY dislike him if you're unable to admit that. Seriously, $30.5M in 2 fights = star lol
Not sure how wilder got paid so much. Dude couldn’t even sell out in his home town. Either way good for him

Floyd's name mentioned in any article probably increases the clickability of said article by some nice %.
Seems like just love to take shots and throw dirt on his name, never mind the fact that the story is false to begin with. Mayweather didn't get "unseated", he retired, and had he not, he most likely would still be the highest paid athlete.

Almost every news outlet has been repeating the same fake story, which doesn't even make sense because Floyd hasn't fought professionally in not 1, but almost 2 years now so of course he's not going to be the highest paid athlete.
