Someone please explain to me Why floyd will not fight for 8,000,000???

as a fan not a historian, that's true it would be historical but not a very competitive fight. Spinks style, chin and power are perfect to get his ass ktfo by mayweather or dominated. wouldn't you rather watch a competitive fight were floyd actually risks losing somewhat (although he'd def be the favorite also, just not as lopsided).

Mosley will want the fight at 154 after a great KO and knowing it betters his chances. Sofight Spinks at 154 get use to the weight and win a title. Then fight Mosley in a huge championship match,

this makes no sense at all seeing as how Mosely has already said endless times that he ll only fite at 147 now and he doesnt intend to come up anymore. just thought id note that.

I think that in many respects, fans never get to see alot of dream matches they hoped for. The sad thing is, and i go back to this in many posts, if Margarito had some names on his resume and a legit belt, I think mayweather would care more. But the fact is, lets say margarito NEVER beats a big name, its not even gonna matter in the scheme of things.


I think that at this point, Margarito needs to just fight the other people willing to take him on. A victory against Paul Williams and Carlos Quintana would mean something to Mayweather. And it would mean something to the regular casual fans who watch boxing. If Mayweather takes on Margarito november 4th, nobody is gonna know who he is, and if he loses to Mayweather, i doubt anyone will give a ****. Other than this forum going crazy with "MARGARITO SUCKS AHAHAHAHAHAHA". And if Mayweather loses, he loses to a damn nobody who didint have a single legit contender on his record. At this point in Mayweathers career, I think hes worked hard enough to be able to call his own shots.

I think Mayweathers mindset works in terms of "Who have you beat, and what do you have to offer". In reality, its Arum who has everything to offer, not Margarito. Margarito is basically begging floyd to fight him, while floyd just shuns him off, and when you understand his mindset, you understand while he feels this way.
